Hello vdubs peeps.... I have question I need your help... I have a 1982 VW rabbit with 4 doors. It's a gasoline with 1.7l.

My question is... Where can I find a best Distribution kits? I would prefer a Bosch.

Ask any I might suspect will need specific answer from me and I'm open to any questions.

Thanks and looking forward to drive my rabbit again. My 1969 bay window needs rest cuz I've been driving this bus for 14 years as daily driver!!! She deserves a rest! Haha

How much for just the parts such as connection socket maybe need hall sending unit and base plate? Or do you think I should just get a brand new kit under Bosch.

Two questions...

You been around with VW Rabbits long time?

I am goal put a faster engine such as 2.0 or 2.2 turbo into my rabbit... Would you have that experience knowledge of which I should get and maybe you have engine for my car?

I doubt you are going to find Bosch dist... whole. You may not even find Bosch pieces of it, Last time I tried to find a hall sender for a dist, they were NLA. I had to go to a salvage yard for them, so I grabbed a few while there. Your best bet is to find what you can online if you want new pieces or find what you can local. As for a motor swap, since you are in cali, I.m not sure what you can get away with, maybe someone who lives there and has done one will chime in. GL with that.
