Nor-Cal Bus Fest 12. Sunday August 14, 2016. Contra Costa County Fairgrounds (use main entrance), 1201 West 10th Street, Antioch, CA 94509. Gates open at 8:00 am for this display and swap event open to ALL Volkswagen buses and trucks, regardless of year, model or condition. if you have a bus its worth going. If you don't, you cant even park inside - even if you're in an aircooled vw.
the event overall is okay, small swap and stuff, smoozing with other bus people etc,, but gets boring quick. After 2-3 hours Im ready to go home.
All models VW shows are much more interesting, fun and more involving to me. If you've never gone, its worth checking out at least once, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to cancel important things (like work lol) to attend. The OCTO Bus events down in socal are much better bus events imho - bigger swap and vendor area etc.

This is my first time going and bringing the bus - at arrival I will be able to park inside? Or how does it work? Noob question  |

I had fun meeting tons of people! Purchased a couple items. It was nice for me but really glad my daughter didn't take off work to come. |
