Can anyone ID this? I see a "Tomoe" in the center, but can't find anything resembling the entire symbol. It looks like fountain pen tips in the pedals too, possibly?

Might be a tsuba - a Japanese family crest, or just someone's interpretation of a Japanese symbol. Without a context you may never know (like, was it on a storefront or just a random?)

These were multicolored plastic "clings," evolved from the ubiquitous rainbow cling of the late 1970s. They were popular, especially on bay window buses, until the early 2000s...

Lol, funny you say that. There's a rainbow on the lower right corner.

Not that I know much about this stuff, but doesn't Google have a search by image function? Can you have it search for anything that looks like that?

I bet that rainbow was there before the LGBT took over the symbol.

Yes, there is but nothing comes up for this image the way it is now.
Maybe if it was cut out from the background you could get some better results.

In the Chrome Browser you can also right click on the image to do a Google Image search

Because I'm the curious type and I love a challenge, I recreated the emblem:
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

And entered that into Google's photo search. It returned nothing. If I could figure out a description it might have searched better, but the keywords I used returned no matching images.

And I was wrong.. a tsuba is a handguard on a sword. A mon is a family crest.

I recall similar stickers around the time when white window rubbers and tribal flames were popular, but that one has more of a New Orleans sort of look to it, not really sure why, just how I see it.

Look up Buddhist or Zen emblems or crests- the elements of this sticker pop up. I tried to take a closer look at stuff on Pinterest regarding it- but got blocked by all their site's horshite.

See that symbol in the middle.......its roughly the same as the Ravenswood wine vineyard logo. Google that and read the history of the symbol. Its three ravens claws interlocked. Ray

I thought they were three commas circling in the same sentence- a big grammar no no... Cool
