Swapped the handles so at least the drivers one works!

The handle breaking might be the symptom, not the cause. Check the lock actuator for smooth and buttery release. Excess stress on the pivot will snap pot metal of course

Yes, I believe the stress was caused by new door seals that put pressure on the latch. I have fixed that.

My drivers side door handle is tight to. I was checking the door rubber today to see if I can reduce the pressure.

I had a great time at Bug Fest Niagara. I wish I were on a trip like your taking, but our dog is older and is not as comfortable riding in the bus these days.
