Can someone tell me why my fuse block has 4 wire terminals on one side, and only 3 on the other? Every fuse block in every wiring diagram has 4 on each side. Where do I connect the clock, radio, interior light, etc.?

It's either broken or the connector wire (shown in black coming from the missing
wire connector) is internal. Just hook anything that requires power with the key off to any connector that is hot with the key off. I think the wires shown in red are hot all the time. |

Take a second look at that diagram. Far left terminal is a rivet and not a screw, because it does not have a slotted head drawn.

If you look at the full wiring diagram you can make out the radio shape in dashes.

Good time to take out that fuse box, for an over night soaking in vinegar, after disconnecting the battery. Then rinse fuse box off with water the next morn, and solder up each riveted connection to get rid of voltage drops. Apply dielectric grease to the screw connectors to keep oxygen and thusly corrosion away for as long as possible.
When you have the fuse box out you will see the brass strap that is on underside of it connecting those two point together.
Do same cleaning and soldering with the smaller fuse box..

Also it looks like you have a jumper wire between the third and fourth fuses at the top right - this isn't right and the circuits attached to these fuses will not be protected properly. Linking terminals on the input side of the fuse box (like the internal jumper on the first and second fuses at the bottom left) are ok but this is a no no on the output side. Still, it is better than how my fuse box was when I bought my 62 KG - some genius had soldered the input wires to the output side of the box which basically bypassed all the fuses.

| Thanks guys. I'll remove and clean it and check the other side. As for that jumper, the previous owner had the headlights hooked up that way. The whole car needs a rewire. |

Just an update, the fuse holder was upside down. Removed it, cleaned it, and yeah, the connector is underneath for 58 on the light switch to the rear lights. Really screwed me up! Ahh the wiring woes from previous owners
