I painted my car with some PPG single stage paint. During assembly (of course)
I nick and scratched some areas. An I can guarantee there will be more.
Is there a way I can take the leftover paint and make little jars of touchup?
Is a pain in the A... to try and mix 10ml of this to 1ml of that and .5 of this every time.

Yes, but be sure to use air tight glass jars/lids or small metal paint cans. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Are you mixing the toners yourself?
Make as much as you want if you are. Does it require an activator?(most likely) Do not mix the activator in until ready to use. If u have any old paint cans clean them out with laquer and pour it in there for storage. _________________ 64 bug (o\ ! /o) |

Once you add any hardener or activator to the color it has a limited pot life. You can dab just the color on and it will work. It will just take a really long time to dry. Alternatively you can add some of the color to clear if you happen to have some mixed up at the time of application. Really if your mixing touch up with hardener just guess at the ratios. no need to get out your eye dropper. it will still work if it's a bit off. |
