This dual relief case came from an early '70s car. I assumed it's an AS41 but there are no markings on the sides. I'm looking for a case to build a 2276 for my '64 Bug. Any info would be appreciated.

Hmmm......., the serial number was ground off and restamped, any grinding marks on the side of the sump? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Actually it does look like there may be grinding marks on the side in one of the pics. I won't be back at the shop until Thursday to look closer. Can't imagine why anyone would go through the trouble of milling the numbers off and restamping or grinding the markings off the side. It's not a Hemi or LS6.
Did all the AS41 cases have the markings on the sides? _________________ Who is John Galt?
