Hello all. My father used to own this dune buggy when he was younger but sold it once the my sister and I came around. I was wondering if someone knew what model of dune buggy this was, or if people even know what lights it is on it. I am hoping to pick up the same model that my dad used to have and make one similar but kicked up a notch as well.
Side note, this website is amazing. I have been browsing it off and on for the last year considering a dune buggy project and the amount of information here is astounding. |

The Glitterbug and Sears Rascal were both manx clones with the same ridge on the hood
The Sears Rascal/ Coyote was made by Terra-Buggy in Indiana so its more likely

Thanks guys! NW Ohio so Indiana would be very likely.
My dad always regretted selling it rather than shoving it into the back of a barn and keeping it for the future. My parents have helped me out financially with college/wedding/down payment on a house so as I've been advancing in my career I'm now at a point where I can pay them back, and I want to give my parents a show-ready buggy as a giant thank-you.
I thought it would be a good touch to get him as similar as what he used to have if possible, and add some extra quality of life items like a full roll cage. |

Did the rascal ever come with chrome edge molding? I had to remove some from one of my glitterbug body's that had never been mounted to a pan. |
