I got a chance to speak for a few minutes with Lenny the other day at his shop. He is having pretty serious health issues. He is going through a battery of tests with several different doctors to see what is wrong.
As a good friend of Lenny's for the past 25+ years, I just wanted to let the VW community know of his poor health so we can keep him in our collective prayers.
Being a salty New Hampshire-native makes him a natural-born fighter.......and I hope he can overcome his current health issues.

Lenny is a VW legend, and the Bowman household has him in our thoughts and prayers for a complete recovery! He has more VW's to restore and VW friends to make! Get well Lenny!

This is the first time reading this. It was a battle trying to figure this out. Saw a Cancer specialist for 4 months. That was ruled out. After 6 months of tests of all kinds they sent me to a rheumatologist and they found out I have Chronic Hep C. I started taking the newest medication 2 weeks ago that cures it with a 99.9% cure rate. The medicine is $95,000.00 but luckily I have good insurance that paid for it.
Thanks for all the nice words from my friends. I really appreciate it.

Good luck to you. A very close friend of mine just went through this and it worked great so just do what your doctor advises and once again good luck
