The KUHLTEK MOTORWERKS BUG-IN 41 is set for Sunday May 15, 2016 at the Autoclub Dragway in Fontana. No matter what your VW interest is, the BUG-IN has it all. You will find 1/4 mile drag racing, both a vintage and custom car show, and not to mention a huge swap meet and Vendor Display.

Once again the Car Show at this years BUG-IN 41 is FREE thanks to our sponsor Wolfsburg West. Just pay your $25 spectator entry and there is no further charge to enter the Car Show. Any year or model VW is welcome to participate, and we just about have a class for everyone. Our car show is divided into two separate categories; Vintage and Custom. Among those categories are different classes split up by model and year. It is completely up to the participant whether they want to be judged in the Custom class, or the Vintage Class.

:::Swap / Vendor Info:::
Swap Meet Spaces are for private parties selling "used" parts only. If you are a business or shop selling new or used parts, you will need to get a Vendor spot. Swap Spaces are $40 each and include the driver's admission. Passengers will need to pay and additional $25.
Vendor Spaces at this year Manufactures Midway will be located right in the middle of all the action, directly behind the grandstands. Each spot is aprox 15’x20’ and will include a pass good for one (1) vehicle and two (2) spectators.
:::Hotel Info:::
Once again the Radisson Ontario Airport will be the Host Hotel for the weekend’s activities. (only 1 mile from the Saturday night cruise night!!)
They will be offering a special $75 Room Rate, but reservations must be made by APRIL 22 to get the special rate.

What happened to Irwindale?
I was on their web site the other day and it appears they're still open. I'll come to Fontuckey if I have to, but I thought Irwindale was much better. |

BUG-IN hasn't been held at Irwindale for two years. The Fontana track was under construction from 2012-2014, so that is why the BUG-IN was held at Irwindale. We did host our Hot VWs Drag Day event at Irwindale for the last 15 years, but unfortunately Irwindale is currently running on a month to month basis. From here on out both Drag Day and BUG-IN events will be held at Fontana unless Irwindale opens up a larger window for track rentals. Simply put we can not organize an event with only a few months notice.
