I have never rebuilt a 36 hp engine so I am in unknown territory (rebuilt almost every other kind of vw engine though). I have a cam that has a VW number on the gear - 111 209 111 (it is a -2 cam). there is also a vw emblem number on the cam shaft itself - 111 109 101 BUT on the gear slot end, oil pump side there are the following words: CRANE VW 320 A5490 and the letter M. Any idea as to what this cam is? Possibly a reground vw cam for performance? Any help is appreciated. Hayden
