It got fully restored and no longer looks as awesome as it did after KCW resurrected it. Damn shame.

Not a single one of us said it was in "good shape" or an untouched survivor. TomTom was an absolute wreck when it was purchased by John at KCW. I remember when he posted pics of it on the trailer and I just sort of laughed that anyone would try to restore it because of how mangled it was but, damn if I was amazed by what was done with a porta power and some BFH's !
You did an outstanding job restoring it, I followed that thread to the end. It's just that to some of us, it lost it's soul ( and not because it was slammed and it's stock height again ), now it's just "another restored VW" which isn't meant to be a dig and I can see how it seems like it but, unlike others in various threads about TomTom, I would never say you "destroyed" it, I was just disappointed to see it go. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"

Humm, I did not restored the bus. The previous owner did.
