I have nothing to add except to say that's an awesome color. Very unique and cool early Vw color. _________________ https://instagram.com/mr.ogpaint

very nice car!!!
i have one question about the seat pattern style.
it seems to be exclusively for (only some) oval verts.
last year in Bad Camberg i've discovered only one car with this pattern.
Does anybody know, if it belongs to certain years or was it an extra order? |

My car is the rkilbury vert, it is currently undergoing a transformation back to stock, I don't want to post photos just yet as it would turn more into a build thread. I may post up some photos in the convertible registry thread when I get a minute |

As hard as you've been working on your car, I thought you might be driving it Peter. We will just have to wait... |

I don't know the answer to your question, you may have better luck asking

thanks, it helped. it should have been used only in 54-55.
56 verts have the sedan pattern again.
i was confused, because i've seen this pattern on some verts with ribbed doors and plain doors. and also some verts with ribbed and plain doors with sedan pattern seats, so i was asking, what's so special about this pattern style. |
