Now posting somw great images on the first "station-wagon" made by VW of Brazil: the Variant.
Released at the end of 1969, it had a great success among brazilian families that needed a simple, reliable way of travelling with their belongings.

As VW of Brazil was losing its sharing with the Brasilia and other car makes, they decided to make some upgrades on the Variant, specially on the front suspension (changing the traditional torsion-bar for the more modern McPherson unit), and having a similar VW Brasilia design, nicknamed "Bigger Brasilia". It stayed in the market until 1981.
