My 45 j old donor engine is not in good condition...
Camshaft and followers ... No good
Oil pump... No good
And it goes on and on and on
So here some new goody's
The crank shaft bearing had a little end play
So i went for an oversized one and made me a tool
And fits perfect now

Very nice job! You took the good way by changing full panels instead of patching and hammering the originals. I did the same on my 76 Bay, after I first weld patch panels and battle trying to straighten the side panels...
Poor quality panels are also a pain in the ass, a huge waste of money and time for a result not up of the work put in the job.
Greetings from Belgium |

Wow... nice work. The engine looks really good. I like all the original parts on it. Looks nice and stock and original.
With you being in Europe, you shouldn't have a problem sourcing one of these original Pierburg fuel pumps to replace that Brazil one. Those Brazil pumps are known for having the pivot pins fall out since there are no securing clips on them. The Pierburg pumps have clips, cut off valves and fuel filters in them. It's 100 times better than that Brazil pump.

i never thought of this, so i made a little calculation ...
almost have the bus 2 years now, and roughly estimated 350 hours at the moment. |

Thank you.
Not just for sharing your work, but for doing it. As a lover of these old Buses it makes me happy to see another one being brought back.
Thank you. _________________ ~Kevin
