I was just wondering what everyone thought about the color of my '64.

NEW PICTURE- with nontinted windows, black window rubber, new exhaust, new tires... 135s & 185s and mud flaps (should have been white)

Unique, I just can stomach the looks of white window rubber IMO, but it does blend well with the color scheme. Mine is in the shop now, porsche pastel yellow.........can't wait. Nice car!!!!!!!

Pink isn't my color...personal choice, but the car is VERY sharp. It looks great.

I'd have gone with another color than pink, but I love the tuxedo paint!

That white window rubber is getting chaged out to black as we speak, along with 135s up front and 185s in the back. Sholud i re-tint the windows or keep them clear?

man, i bet that thing turns alot of heads. Keep the windows clear though and changing the rubber is a very good idea. The ride reminds me of a Cream Saver...

Well, since you asked (otherwise I wouldn't probably give my opinion)....

I love the car, but hate the colors Shocked. If it were mine, it would be at the painters asap.

Question! What motivated you to paint it that color, or did it come like that from the PO???

Nothing motivated me to paint the car. The guy i bought it from already had the paint on it. I thought the same thing... PAINT SHOP. But the thing is, for one im still im school so i hardly work so i wouldnt be able to afford another paint job, and two, the paint is really nice. It must have cost a ton to do. You can't tell but the sides are actually a pearl/metallic color. I would totally paint it but i wouldnt want my car to have a shitty paint job on it. Let me know if you know of a good quality (not awesome but nice) painter somewhere in California that is somewhat reasonable. Please try to stay away fom so. cal shops because im more in the central/north Califorina area. Give me some color suggestions if you want too. And tell me if you think the windows should stay clear or be re-tinted (keep in mind the new black window rubber) Thanks.

Thats a super nice car. As much as I think white window rubber sucks, it looks well placed on your car. I don't think I would ever pick pink as a color, but if its on there you may as well leave it. Its unique. It will probably attract a lot of attention from girls, and that isn't that bad is it?
