Did anyone know if this little plate with the two holes between the latch and the windowframe is original? |
I don't know but I would say Yes.
Reason:
My '61 Double Cab, which uses the same sort of Barndoor-style latch, has these too:
Maybe the color difference is Barndoor vs. later Double Cab latches?
The later ones have slotted mounting holes. Look at the right side of the photo I posted above. _________________ How to Post Photos

Clearly the audible to that picture was "If you don't stop leaning on that headlight kid I'm gonna choke you right outta them shorty-shorts.". _________________ "Do you see what happens Larry?!?!" |

I think Brian means that your pop outs are for 50-51 barndoors only. 54s use the same style of frame as later buses |

And I think he also noticed the 50-52 dashpod and the 50-52 dashpod holder, which are both incorrect for your 54
Ben you mean late 51 to early 53 pop outs, right ?
The 50-51 ones are different yet. |

Those parts look in nice condition. What happened to the rest of the bus? _________________
