Both owners have done a tremendous job in bringing that jewel back. I'm glad to see if back to stock as well. I think it looks better in that configuration.
Looking forward to seeing pictures of it completed! _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

Just a few more things to finish before this weekend.
I know it's the wrong steering wheel. I have the correct bat wing ready to go on. _________________ New Vintage Specialist.

You will have lots of eyes on your zwitter tomorrow for sure enjoy the ride!
You probably know it already... originally the belt hood, running board and window trim on a zwitter was dull aluminum; however personally I definitely like shiny polished trim better too, so please keep it shiny as can be, despite of what purists will say

I do know that the trim is originally a dull aluminum, But I don't know where to get it. Can I do something to this trim to make it more authentic? _________________ New Vintage Specialist.

A friend of mine once owned a Zwitter and he got rid of the shiny plating by fine sandpaper and a little polish.
After that treatment and some natural oxidation the trim had that bare aluminium finish he wanted. _________________ Master of my domain! |

I absolutely love coming across threads like this, from a solid canvas to the finished product, what a phenomenal looking car.
OG finishings always look best. I’m going to find myself a zwitter one of these days, just make sure we don’t become too judgmental, I’m just a kid under a shade tree. Good to know there are sweet looking german classics blessing the southern streets of the Southeast.
Cheers,
