I know wiring issues have been beaten to death and I've read all of the threads. But the wire harness seems very expensive IMO. Not sure which way to go...
I have MSD Digital 6AL box, 4 gauge, 1 tach, 2 push button on/off indicator switch, 1 momentarily switch, and couple warning lights in my dash. Wire harness I looked @ so far is American Wire, Rebel Wire, Painless and a few others. _________________ AH TIYAD AH DAT DEH BAI!!!

I went with the most basic painless wiring kit. It was for a hot rod. It worked extremely well however I had to lengthen all the engine related wiring as it was made for a front engine hot rod.
I highly recommend spending the money on a good kit. Worth every penny and no hassles down the road.
Any extra circuits I had a neatly wrapped up the wires and tucked them away. I recently added some day time running lights and used the heater blower motor wiring to add the lights with. Again super easy, glad I went with the harness.
Edit
Something else to think about. I didn't look what steering column you are using but if a Chevy tilt column for example buy a Chevy Painless harness and everything just plugs in....... Saved time is money _________________ Brent

Update: This weekend was a great one. My motor was started up for the very first time on Saturday. Today was tuning & dialing in the carbs. Motor sounds like Authority. I will post a youtube video on here.. _________________ AH TIYAD AH DAT DEH BAI!!!
