just built this 69 motor as a spare for the bus
it came like this a shortblock with a box of parts..
I put the pistons and cylinder in a good friend of mine put the block together.
start pistons on
cylinders on
tin going on
and voila
took 1 day to assemble.. _________________

No, that is just the low end price, with no customization:

Why didn't you take the time to paint the engine tins while you had the engine apart??? That Beetle pea shooter exhaust is incorrect for a bus. It will produce less torque then a merged header and you'll be sucking the exhaust fumes into the bus. A bus muffler should exit on the side of the bus. _________________ __________

i have quiet pack for it just need to find a header at a swapmeet. As for the tin that was the best tin i had available, if i find a better set i'll swap it out someday.. it still works for now..it is only a spare motor
yet..otherwsie that is the only muffler i had to try it with someday i'll get a bus one as for now i'll need to use this one..
this week traded a vw ruler for the correct original 10" chrome front emblum.
and i made up some tent poles for the original side tent. _________________

Haven't posted here for a while so i thought i'd update you...

also put on these patina rims for a more ratlooking bus..
try several different paints on spots. can't decide on what to paint it.. into..

otherwise gutted the interior and took most stuff off.. planning on getting it ready for a rad paint job.. thinking tyedye maybe..
