In Mid October I surprised my wife and took her to see Elton John for our 30th Anniversary. Excellent concert and I couldn't believe how good he still sounded. |

March 23 my wife Tracy and I went and saw David Crosby at the Balboa Theater. Good show, lots of stories, but he is deffentitlly better with his two friends, Steven and Gram.
Then on the 31st we saw Il Volo at the civic theater. Absolutely fantastic show. We can't wait for them to come back again.
Come June it is The Riders. Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Barry Goldberg. _________________ Prosit!

Not sure if it really counts as a concert, but my family and I went to see A Prairie Home Companion on my birthday back in May in Spokane, WA. It was fun to actually see what is happening that you normally only get to hear on the radio. That, and Alvin Bishop was the guest musician! I was really worried it would be opera and I was seated much too far from the bar for that. _________________ nothing |

The Rides, not the Riders, was last Wednesday. Great show. Those guys can play a guitar like you can't believe and Barry on the keyboards ... Wow and when they played the blues, I couldn't sit still. _________________ Prosit!

I saw the sound engineer and Mr. Keillor on "CBS Sunday Morning" a few weeks ago. Been thinking of seeing the show you saw when it comes to town. _________________ Prosit!

Though I try to watch that show every Sunday Morning, I missed that episode.
Go see APHC, you will not be disappointed. _________________ nothing |

We saw the Temptations (or Temptation, only 1 original member left) last night at the Saban (apparently pronounced "suh-bahn" as opposed to "say-bin" like it should be--Roll Tide). Anyway, it used to be the old Fox Wilshire Theater in Hollyweird. Good show--wife and I had a great time. |

Dammit! I wish I knew they were that close, I would have loved to have seen them. My wife recently dragged me to Rascal Flats, it was a decent show. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

That was one fantastic show! |

Yes powder milk biscuits here. We've got tickets for Black Sabbath in September and Bonnie Raitt in October. By some of the responses here seems people are remembering shows they saw 30 years ago. Geez you need to get out more. |

I have quick feedback request regarding Bare Naked Ladies. I've always liked this band, and am hoping with your opinions I might take my 17 year old daughter to see them in Boise Tuesday.
The main question:
Are their live shows appropriate? I had a few regrets about B-52s when my kiddo was 13... _________________

If your 17 year old has cell phone she has been exposed to more horrors than a BNL show (they are a snoozer band, have no fears). _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

That looks very close to the show we saw. We had to start leaving during the encore (my 5 year old son, a big Beatles fan, was with us), so we heard Yesterday, and then Hi Hi Hi, not sure what may have followed after that. I have to give him credit, He's 74 now, and that is a long show with no intermission. I hope I have that much energy when I get to that age. _________________ I will never lie, but sometimes the truth changes.
