These days with some of the other show/event folks totally bypassing the Samba to do all their announcements on Facebonk is a real bummer. Ignoring the Samba "the biggest VW clearing house for anything VW" to play Facebonk only just doesn't make any sense and it harms the Community.

a lot of the bigger vendors will be at the show or octo. you should check out the cruises/shows or open houses, in the Shows lisitings.

You can arrive Wednesday night after 5:00 PM if you would like.
We are able to lower the admission price his year so pricing is as follows.
If you come on Thursday it will be $35.00 for the weekend
If you come on Friday it will be $30.00 for the 2 nights
If you come on Saturday it will be $20.00 for the Night

We meet at the In-N-Out 12359 Seal Beach Blvd. Seal Beach, CA 90740 Starting @ 7:00PM till everyone leaves.
This way everyone can have a place to eat at, either In-N-Out or Chipotle. You can even get it and eat it at your car if you want. Just look for the VW's.
All VW enthusiasts are welcome to join in, it doesn’t matter what condition your ride is in, and even if your car is under the weather you can still come and hang out. We won’t tease you.

Orange County Transporter Organization presents "O.C.T.O. Meet 2013". This is our Summer bus event. It's is a swap and display meet, for 1967 and earlier Volkswagen buses only, held at Long Beach Veteran's Memorial Stadium, Long Beach, CA. Til 1967 VW type IIs get preferred swap and display spaces which will be on a "First come - First served basis". There will be raffle prizes at the main booth. Refreshment services will be provided by LBVMS Concessions. So drive your transporter!!!

June 08, 2013 - VW Classic COLLECTIBLES Show
Irvine, California
On Saturday, June 8th, the day before the VW Classic, Volkswagen collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world will meet at the VW Classic host hotel, the Wyndham Irvine, for the 2013 VW Collectibles Show. The doors open at 2pm, admission is just $5.
A free collector pin from one of the past VW Classic events will be given to the first 200 attendees and everybody attending will have a chance to win one of the special door prizes. They include a vintage tin model created by toy guru Bob Gilmore, a hand-painted “egg” of the Gilmore car by artist, Ron Petro, and a pair of the Bug-In 45th Anniversary VANS shoes.
The Wyndham Irvine (formally the Crowne Plaza) is the host hotel for the VW Classic weekend and a gathering point for folks attending the VW Classic from out of town. The hotel parking lot is a VW car show all day!

6:30 am gates open for the Pierside Parts Unlimited Classic 2013 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Located at 8808 Irvine Center Drive Irvine, Ca. 92618.
• Come see the “Worlds Largest VW Car Show”-$20.00 admission for each adult, kids 12 and under are $5.00 each. The car show registration is FREE !! with each paid $20.00 adult admission.
**There will be a Old School BMX Display at the Pierside Parts Unlimited vendor space. Bring your Old School BMX to show off!!! Contact Carroll for more info: 1-714-848-8868.
• World Famous Classic Swap Meet-Swap meet spaces are $40.00 for each 20’x20’ space (includes 1 adult /1 vehicle pass). Swappers towing a trailer will be $60.00 and will get two spots. Swap meet spaces must contain “used” VW related parts only (no new parts).
• New part Vendor midway will host the “who’s who ?” of the VW retail and manufacturer scene. New parts vendor spaces are for VW related businesses and new VW related items only. Spaces are limited, pre-registration is highly recommended.
• The In-n-Out Burger truck will make its annual stop at the Classic serving your favorite In-n-Out menu items.
Other local food vendors will be on site to provide a different variety of food choices.
• Old Bug.com returns with the “Freak Show”. Randy Carlson will have a display of
obscure VW’s for your viewing pleasure.
