recently come across this rack and was wondering if anyone can shed any light on it for me, any help would be appreciated.

thanks Everett, I had already seen those. this rack seems to be wider than a bug, so im guessing its not for a beetle. the search continues Confused

If your not going to give up the dimensions of it, then it is pretty hard to tell you what it fits.

Yes I've been meaning to get up the lock up recently. I'll be going tomorrow so I will post the measurements up then.

that one is defiantly wider then the Eckel i have.

Mine is for a Beetle. A pic of it can be seen in one of the threads Everett posted

mine is aprox:


33 3/4 inches long from the inside of the front cup to the inside of the rear cup

its 30 1/2 inches wide from the inside of the left cup to the inside of the right cup

as for height clearance its about 4 inches from the bottom of the cup to the bottom of the rack

ok had a measure up and its like this;
external rack dimentions are 46" x 46"
inside edge rubber to rubber 38.5" x 38"
also two of the clamps are 1.5" shorter than the other two.

The nearest Herkules rack to that size is 117cm x 117cm.
