|
|
Tried searching but couldn't find anything on the answer, I have a '66 convertible and it had 2 or 3 very small holes in the roof that could do with patching until I make the Florida winter. Any ideas on patching the roof?
Cheers, |

There's always good ol' needle and thread...
Stitched up a few holes on my old canvas sunroof cover-was going to be temporary (a month or so) ,but ended up working for about 5 years.
I used that beefy thread that's used for patching tents-didn't look too bad, (I'm definitely not a seamstress) but they WERE pretty small holes... |

Good recommendations. I'll add some photos of the specific holes once I get the car back from the shop. I am putting new wolfsburg west interior in the car and while it will be garage kept, I don't want to screw up the new interior. I am pretty sure that the top is original. |

Vinyl should be original for '66- but I'm sure I'll get corrected...
Visit an actual tent shop. They're all over the west- so I don't know about FL. They are usually far more reasonable price and time-wise than an automotive trimmer. _________________
