I stripped the grey paint & put new wheels on. Now i need to drill the bolts out for the rear bumper. It's too bad someone sanded the hell out of the OG paint

Its amazing what a set of fresh rims/tires can do to a car. Looks road worthy now. _________________ Defying conventional wisdom since 1970 |

Check endplay on that flywheel before rebuilding - it might be out of spec. _________________ .ssS! |

yeah, anytime Patrick. The carbs seem pretty cheaply made, but it sounds great, and seems pretty peppy for a 36er. I'm liking it so far |

Not too different from this original paint December 1955 that has been "sanded" by sixty two years of natural weathering. The climate isn't too different from Roseburg:
The above pics are ten years old so she's even more weathered now. _________________ Roads Scholar &

Nice, I really like that green. Yours has a lot more paint left on it than mine. Someone actually sanded mine down pretty good in spots. Looks likes some rough grit they were using too. |

Great that you got the oval driving again, even with a different engine. Did you ever clean out the original decomposing 36hp engine? |
