How I found my first oval.....shed was actually pretty clean, and it just sat in the corner. It was half way between Brisbane and Sydney in a small coastal town.

Found November 2014. Finally pulled it out August 2015.
This 54 was wrecked in 1973. The owner pushed it into a corner of a barn/chicken coop on his farm after it was wrecked. That's where it stayed until I stumbled across it.

Hard to believe but this car has zero cancer. Clips are both very straight but there is some damage to the roof from bullet holes. _________________ CHECK US OUT ON YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsaYK9P6m68

Weird thing is the bullet holes appear to be caused by someone inside the vehicle shooting out. |

Awesome!!! I would love to hear the story on how you found it. I hope you got a killer deal on it as well. It appears that the dirt surrounding the car worked like a preservative of sorts. Very cool find and great pics. Are you planning a body off pan full restore? _________________ 1957 VW Oval Resto Mod |
