Just came back from my vacation in Cuba (roundtrip).
And I was not dissapointed.. Ofcourse a lot of US cars (and Russian/Chinese), but actually also a lot of VW stuff.
A lot of newer beetles like these:
Also some newer bay windows:
Some I am guessing the Cubans are doing business with Mexico/Brazil?
But also some older stuff (mostly hacked up):

And of course this beautiful Russian idea of a Splittie
And I saw a split/oval standing at the Cuban television station, but I was send away by the security before I could take a picture .. _________________ 2005 VW Lupo

Replying to an old post from 2011 about vws on Cuba...
I would like to visit Cuba this year. I know the trip has to relate to culture and or art in some way. I would enjoy any details of places you may remember seeing any. I just realized a vw documentary style short video would be great to create while visiting.
