SNORE has the largest group of class 11 cars, I think 15 plus starters at the Battle at Primm this Feb. and in Ridgcrest CA they are doing a Le Mans start!! |

We've had folks from Oregon come down to the VORRA races. Granted they were UTV folks, but folks nonetheless. _________________ Dirt is for racing. Asphalt's just for getting there.

I think there is a guy on here that races rally out of St. Louis MO...is he still around?
I use to race SCCA F-prod, and IT.....the few posts of his that I have seen have been intresting.
Can anyone point me to some threads on his setup and his series....I may want to look into doing this as well.
I am in the Kansas City area so I am not too far away from him. |

Best in the Desert

I just raced class 2000 which is SCORE's 1600 buggy class.
We took 3rd in the "Vegas to Reno" - The longest off-road race in America.

This past Sunday I did my first RallyX in my daily driver a '05 Saab 92x
I had a blast doing it but I every run I took I was worried about ripping off my exhaust or something more catastrophic. It is something I would really like to do again just not in my DD. I had mentioned to one of the organizers that I wanted to bring my rail to the next one. He told me they are not eligible because of this SCCA rule
Quote: |
6.1 ELIGIBLE VEHICLES A RallyCross event is open to any fixed-roof production based vehicle (including convertibles with a factory hardtop attached, targa-types with factory panel in place, t-tops with factory panels in place) that can pass safety inspection. |
Does anyone know of a creative way to get a rail to pass this criteria, besides buying a baja? |
