Not sure if you made the paper mag Ken. I don't subscribe for the same reason, I just pick and choose ones I want at the grocery store. I buy more Ol' Skool Rods issues than HVW's anymore. _________________ Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar and it didn't.

^ All right.....all right... I know I know... it needed it.. Its been on my mind.
Gear change...by way of rear rubbers..
Can you say..... meat...
Size jump from 225/70/15.. to the wopping 255/70/15... (same 15x7 wheels)
Bout 1.75 taller and 1.75 wider...
Lets see what snaps first..
Probably will have to jack the torsions back up a smidge..
Back of my mind... thinking IRS swap....maybe.. maybe not..
Ahhhhhh... yeah....

Thanks for rubbin' it in.
I hate not being able to enjoy this year round. Only had..well......have... a couple cars that I consider "seasonal"... Not my style...but makes spring feel like my birthday...
Got some rear meat pics tonight....
The bump in rear size really set the rake stance even more..
Size is better..
I'll have to get it back on the alignment rack after I raise it up a degree or 2. I guess the front too..

looks great with the new tires. I like it at the current hight, it looks more evil. You should post up a template of the deck lid for others who might want one. |

Oh I like the height.. but hate the negative rear camber.... Thats just the alignment and suspension tech portion showing through in me..
Im going to play around with a floor jack and see how much its going to take to get the rear more level.. May not even touch it.. except for tweaking the alignment a bit.
... and no deck lid (car in general) template will. .or should.. ever be made off of mine... ...... I dont want any copy cats..
One of a kind.. ish..
If one cant come up with something on their own.. they have no business creating it.. ..
Besides... the lid may change again... Im thinking if no IRS swap... a trans raise.. or not.... who knows.

"Thats what she said.. Laughing Thanks... Cool "
Let's shake it up and go import style. Big wing, 7 inch tail pipes and swap the wheels front to rear and rear to the front. LOL

Man lets not get carried away.. I mean they are already Imports.. and that's bad enough..
Speaking of stupid trends...
It took me 6 months to figure out what the pink loop things hangin out the back bottom of all the fart pipe Hondas around here.. .. some sort of get out of the ditch free hook...
I think...
Im just surprised most dont have truck nuts wrapped around them too..
Anyway.... Im not one to generally criticize anything Kustom... but.. some people.. have no business setting/starting trends.
The last month I've had 2 full size GM trucks come in for alignments after owner suspension alterations..
I CAN NOT understand and wrap my head this trend thats hopefully not spreading.
They are either slightly lowered or stock in the rear but jacked up TO THE MOON on the front...
They look like T total crap... like the bed is full of concrete.. and are ready to hump something.......anything..
No air bags... no hydraulics.... they just ride around like that thinkin' they are the redneck shiz..
Needless to say.. the Caster is all to hell.. and tie rods are at critical breaking bump steer angles... We have to type up a no responsibility statement on the receipt..
Looked for a web reference.... but nothing... If they come back in ..... Im taking a picture...
Ok.. this one is close.. and stupid..

"Man lets not get carried away.. I mean they are already Imports.. and that's bad enough.. " Just kidding on that.
There are a few trucks around here kinda like that but not as extreme. Most around don't use the bed of a truck, maybe another trend for the fakers like all the gasser wanna be's around here during the rod runs.
Didn't mean to throw your tread off track.
