No where near a record, and it's a quality build from a talented guy. I've watched from the beginning and will watch until he's driving the rubber off the wheels. He's living a life AND has a dune buggy. Go man go! Cool

Made some good progress. .mocked up the rebel wire harness and it all worked. This is a great kit to work with. Now just have to tidy up the connections and make them all pretty.

Len,
Where did you get those lights from? What size are they?

I'm still trying to decide what size lights to run on my buggy.

Glad to see your progress, its going to be an awesome buggy.

Tim

https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/mini-auxi...ight/1386/
this is the web site. I bought the 45 deg. lights

They are about 2" round and are very bright.
Tim,
These are the same one's Glasser bought for his buggy. Search driving lights and look at Glasser post he has the link for them.

UPDATE !!!!!!!!! yeah it's been awhile.. Shocked
OK I have all the wiring done now and installed Weatherpack connections , If you are wondering how they are , well they are well worth it..
I will be taking the buggy apart now so I can paint the pan and get it ready for assembly.
As I said the last 10 years " am going to get it done this year" this year it will come true.
I want to have it ready for the second BugOut.
The last pic is the unused wire , I don't want to cut it just incase later down the road I may need to hook something up.

I made some more progress last night. I had to cut out part of the body in the back and re formed it. I still need to smooth it out . Next I will take the body back off and get the pan ready for paint.

I'm thinking of this color for my buggy. With a cream colored interior.
What do you all think. They call it Ford Cloud Mist Gray. I will have to go to the paint shop and see it in person.

In that picture, the sun and position of the camera kind of bleaches the color. But I know the color and think it would look good.

For me, light interior colors are out. I would get it dirty before unpacking it from the plastic. Tan, Buckskin, Silver and black will also go with that color.
