Anyone know when the top drain hole (near the B-pillar) was added to the stamping?

I am trying to determine if that hole needs to be deleted in my replacment doglegs.

Our DEC59 built walk thru panel does not have those rear upper door frame holes. Does have the lower "B" pillar drain holes centered right above the jack points, with no semaphores.

My bus is a Dec. 59 as well, so that's good enough for me, thanks.

My Jan. 61 does not have the upper hole, so it had to have been added after that.

I thought the upper hole would have corresponded with the change in recess/non-recess door drains. but I guess not.

Our May 63 Double cab has upper and lower holes. Note in Claras picture above, the water and dirt gushing out of the lower hole.

I need to correct my post above; my Jan. 61 DOES have the upper drain hole in the dogleg.

Going to center of the hole.

1-1/2" out from the wall the body/door seal sits against.

6-29/32" from "A" pillar.

Hole size .5, with .7 for the dimple.

This all off our DEC59 built walk thru panel camper conversion.

Exactly!

Do you have the drain holes in the lower "B" pillar figured out? Figured you might be replacing that also.

Mine was born February 26, 1960 and is a two-holer so it narrows the change from 1 to 2 to between 12/59 and 2/26/60. Any 1/60s out there?
