Same as always, meet in the staging area by 8:30, 9 at the latest (ON the 4th this year). If you're having breakfast, that starts at 7:30 on. Looking forward to seeing you guys!. Very Happy

Lake Forest 4th of July parade 2012! Another great one, smaller group but fun nonetheless! Overcast skies kept us from sunburn and short tempers as we waited our turn (#91 this year). The buses and the bus imposter garnished rave responses as in years past. After a food/pit stop at Del Taco a few of us, led by our fearless leader Dave24, took off for Santiago Canyon, Cook's Corner, Modjeska grade (glad we all had good brakes!), and a perfect photo-op at Oakley! Enjoy the photos!

Dave24 and Boxonwheel at the head of the line! That would be Carrie Underwood's bus in second. (Read another thread all about that yellow bus.)

After-parade cruise up Santiago Canyon past Cook's Corner

Following Dave24 up Modjeska grade. Glad we all had good brakes for the other side!

We ended up with a perfect photo-op at Oakley in Foothill Ranch. They should use that in their advertising, don't you think?

Had a blast with all of you guys, I have a bunch of pics too, but I just realized I took pics of only the busses, but none of me with my kids! Did anybody take one of us? d'oh!

Thanks again Dave for the legwork, the carabus was perfect, but I learned just how bad my brakes suck! Laughing

Hey guys! Had a great time yesterday!!!!!! Sorry I couldnt make it cruising with you, had a bunch of kid stuff to do and get ready for. Now that I know how "local" you are Id be down to cruise whenever!!!! Cant wait to see vid!
