Would like to correspond with someone in England, perhaps from Cambridge, New Market, Ely, Mildenhall, Bury st. Edmonds or areas in between. Someone into Volkswagens back in the mid 1960's early 1970's. Looking for information on Birches' Garage Ltd, Jack Frost VW, VW repair shop in Ely, certain 67 seat belt connectors made by Britex (I think) etc, and etc |

Any of you local lads know where i can get a decent service done? |
Tower Porsche deals with alot of 356 and early Porsche 911's, they would be worth a shot if you need help specific to aircooled VWs. They are on 56 Druid Street, Se1 Southwark near Tower bridge Road. |
Cheers, i will check them out _________________ 1973 Bug

Thanks for the link, i was at the Ace cafe a few weeks ago as it happens but had no idea about this!
I have registered, will you be taking part? |
I think it looks like a good run and would not mind participating. The problem is I have to find the time to do several small jobs to my bus before it hits the road for 2012, but work is taking up a lot of time at the moment. So if and when I register they may have run out of places. Good to hear you registered for a place OK. |
Well I hope you manage to get your bus all ready an can take part, of you do lemme know and I will keep an eye out for you _________________ 1973 Bug

There hasn't been much happening on the thread in a while, but hopefully people see this.
Would anyone be up for a massive meet up and drive? I really wanna be in a VW convoy!!!
Anyone share my thought? |
Probably not quite a massive convoy, but if you really need to take part in a convoy soon, try and get your name down for the cruise from the VolksWorld show at Sandown Park in Esher to the Ace Cafe in London on the evening of 24th March:
