Spotted the late bay in Ft Pierce, Florida on the docks. Band was playing at the dock and there was some equipment in her. Think it was theirs.

Ah yes, that's right. Thanks for the clarification. Oddly enough, with as many buses there are here. Rarely see 73 Westfalia Campmobiles. Most 73 campers I see in PDX are Rivieras. Come to think of it. Not sure I have ever seen a 73 Westfalia Campmobile here. Intriguing. Now I'm on the look out.

Saw this one in the parking lot of Meas Verde NP in south west Colorado. It had Florida plates on it, they are far from home...

That's "Idle Theory Bus" I follow them on Instagram. They've been all around the country in that thing and have been on the road for a couple years now. Pretty cool.

Here's a link to their blog: http://www.idletheorybus.com/

While stuck in ball busting rush hour traffic I came across this bad ass bus driver. This was no ordinary day. The torential rain was angry, the traffic up a decent climb was insane, highway lanes flooded, and the carnage of accidents was unusual. But this bus driver Kept on Busin'. I salute you and the rest of you daily drivers. Applause

Happy 2015 holidays folks! Mrs. Sunnydog and I took a visit to Mexico City a short wile back and I found numerous VW buses being put to work in that cosmopolitan city. They were personal vehicles, work trucks, food carts, taxis, and (in a metro area of 22.5 million, more people than New York metro area!) probably might serve as cheap and movable housing for some folks too.

Lots of non-USA, highly-modified baywindow makes and models here, followed with 2 shots of a splitty that was rolling as a service or parts delivery: "Todo Para su V.W Clasico"

Enjoy!
