Looks like Montana Red, a stock bus color for 68-70 I think.

Rims? 17" BRMs. Tires size... I gues you'd find it somewhere in this thread: http://kustomcoachwerks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=185&hilit=Franz+bay

It`s not too tough to figure out. BRM`s are only made in two sizes... 15 and 17 inch. These are obviously 17`s.

Here's my latest. I'm getting some passat 15" steels next week. Then I'm going to start saving for some 944 brakes and probably some teledials.

I've got a home built 4" balljoint beam, 50mm front tubs with wagenswest 2.5" dropped spindles. French slammer rear springplates and big notches. No notches on the front yet as it's only just passed it's UK MOT and I've not had chance to drive it.

Hope you like it, it's at it's highest point Smile

I'm just waiting on my UK registration docs to arrive, then I can get my plates on and drive it Smile

I love how you continue to further ruin this bus...hammering out wheel wells because you're too cheap to buy the right size tires/spacers and now the rust on purpose.

Hilarious.

Can't wait to see what's next.

Aren't those just 71 bus rear wheel wells? If so, they aren't hammered out. They just look that way.

Actually in another thread he admitted to hammer dicking the wheel wells because he was too cheap to buy the proper items to make his wheel selection fit correctly.

I guess my 'hammering out' comment could be viewed different ways.

it's a late bay nose (with early lowlights added) on an early bay bus

rolling the fenders is pretty common practice. i would call him cheap because of it. those BBS's RM's and tires probably represent ~$3K

this puts them in the bad-ass category for me.

he didn't 'roll the fenders' he beat the crap out of the rear inner wells with a hammer to fit the tire/spacer/rim combo.

and those aren't real bbs's.

i stand by my statement about that poor sorry hacked bus.
