I buy 90% of my stuff from Europe but that doesn't mean that trying to sell broken parts or overpriced parts isn't a discussion point...I think it is one of the reasons for the thread. And it started a conversation - of dubious value - but a conversation nonetheless.  |
Sure but there also is a point to where you either get how it all works or you are just complaining to complain. Sticking your hand in the fire again after you were just burnt is stupidity. My discussion over these gripes is finished because its now going into stupidity overtime.

Well...I got a lot of backlash and even a mention in the newsletter when I sold mine for 17.5K, but it did sell in hours...

Original motor and original leatherette option. Not trashing the car at all and wouldn't doubt that he gets his asking price it just seems a little high. It does have some rust and some pretty major damage covered up. An overseas buyer won't know the difference until they see it in person

I'm not a big t34 guy but ..I think any car for $18k should have carpet ..and the correct color TS switch/arm ..

Yes this is my old car. I would be happy to see it fetch that kind of dough! It was hit pretty good in the passenger quarter, not sure about smooshed but it had some pretty serious damage. To fix it correctly it would take a talented body man or a replacement panel. They all seem to rust in that area so those are hard to find.
To me this car was never more than a driver and a nice one at that however I never had intentions of restoring it as it would take more work than it was worth.
