Once you get it cut to size. You can take it to an upholstery shop and have the carpet edged.
Or home supply stores have glue on carpet edging (binding)
It finishes it of nicely.
Good luck

Think I found the leak in my windshield seal. Gap at top where the rain gutter water flows. Siliconed it on both sides, and crossing fingers.
Also crawled under the Westy and good and bad news. The good news is that the heater flaps seem to work fine. The bad news is that the cable(s) from the dash are not connected to the flaps, nor do they seem to move properly. Guess it's time for new cables. How hard are they to do? Does the one cable open both flaps?
Tried to adjust the clutch, but can't easily get to the wingnut. Is there an easy way to do it? I don't have a hoist. |
Best luck I’ve had adjusting clutch cables, with the wing nut being very difficult to maneuver is using a pair of needle nose pliers. It’s still a pain, but if my monkey hands can get in there, it can be done! _________________ The Bus Barn Ltd. Co.

Just picked up my bus today from The Wright Gearbox with a newly installed 1835cc paired with a freeway flyer. Rick does great work. That dude is 100% legit!!

Quick Roof made a world of difference quieting the ride in my bus. I also put it over rear floor and behind the zbed. Smaller coverage on the doors too. _________________ '74 Bay - ASI camper body w/'72 Bay - undercarriage and a '76 2000cc rebuilt engine

Replaced fuel filler neck. Completely eliminated Gas odors inside the bus.
Bleeding, peeling pinstripes removed. Rubbed out the stains and waxed.
Touch up paint: front edge of slider and rear edge of driver doors chipped and rusted. Also other chips, etc. Looks great. Perfect colormatch. No pictures, forgot the before and afters.

IF you can get a drop of oil on the cable threads it will help. Then use the vise grips to clamp the base of the threaded cable end, it will keep the cable from spinning. I like to use along pry bar from below the bus to take tension off the cable by prying the clutch lever forward, then spin the wingnut with my other hand. _________________ nothing |

Another method that will work is using the vise grips to keep the cable from spinning as mentioned and then a small crescent wrench, tightened down on one of the two wings of the wing nut to turn it. If the wing nut is froze, the leverage on the crescent wrench handle helps to move it. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

I drove it for the first time. It all started about 4 years ago when I found it in a field, sunk down about 6 inches into the ground. One of the best feelings rolling down the street in my 71 that I brought back from the dead.
