Did you paint it? I have contemplated painting mine matt black to avoid much refection on the windshield. |

Yep. There's a reason shiny dashes are no longer in vogue and in fact the bus one was matte to begin with. He'll regret a shiny dash. _________________ air-cooled or nothing for me

Put the westy in storage for the winter last oct. It's about an hour's drive from my house. I got there and noticed some oil leaking, thought valve cover, no biggie. So I let it sit all winter. Brought valve covers with fresh gaskets only to find out it was leaking from the push rod tube. Bought a tow bar from jeremyrockjock and towed her home.

Took my 1974 Riviera out for a maiden spin with the new Ikea Kallax Shelving Unit and the Poang Chair which fits just brilliantly... Made a table to go with it all that works as kitchen unit, inside and outside dining table...

Finished off the matching trailer for the 1974 Neptune Blue Riviera. Sewing the cover was harder work than I thought! Broke about five needles! Done now and happy...

We have owned on of those IKEA chairs for over a decade. It was perfect when our kid was tiny and needed to rock seemingly forever. We love it. _________________ nothing |

If you where traveling the country and decided to rent a place and stay in a town for a bit. You would have some furniture.

That looks fantastic. Did you re-vinyl the dash, or are you just really good at crack repairs? _________________ 1975 Westfalia - http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=516701 |
