Correct jack for a double glove box split

There is one more in between those. the top one will have VIGOT on the base, up to '55 i belive. then same style without VIGOT to '57.

Jeff is correct. The 53 -57 jack are the same style. The 53-55 has BILSTEIN and VIGOT.

56-57 has only BILSTEIN. 57 was also a transition year. There were also two other variations - cup style for for the rod

Found this one on ebay (but didn't win it), It looks like some of the jacks I've been able to find in old VW books... (Besser fahren mit dem Volkswagen)...

My question would be; when is the cut off for the earlier jack? So I can determine which jack is correct for my June/50 beetle?
