Mike- the caps look even better when you mount them from the backside. You have to trim the cap ears a bit, but they look killer when mounted that way, especially when you use stainless button-head hardware. Mock it up and you'll see what I mean... Jeff

Now you're gettin somewhere, get some og caps and it's on...that's the hard part! Getting good original uncracked caps aren't growing on trees, that's for sure.

Just got these today. I found them at a local junk yard...fronts - 14"......
rears - 15".......one chrome showing.....

what are you guys running for lugs/ bolts on these. i have a set i am currently repainting running them on 62 brake drums.

i am running the cheap chrome empi lug bolts but i had to cut them down

i sent chadd the centers and he rimmed them for me. i wanted some wheels that would look good in gold, and these def do. they are 5 inch up front and 7 inch in the rear. caps are from terry torque thrust and generic chrome lug covers. the chrome lug covers was important since vw stock lugs are ugly.
