And it's complete! Except for carb, intake manifold, dist cap, wires, alt pulley, exhaust. But other than that... |

What the F! None of those pics represent anything that he's said has been done. His 'proformance' motor looks like it hasn't run in years. The passenger side heater channel looks like it has a gaping hole in it. There is plywood for windows held in with expandable foam! And it's a 71 Super. An oval in this condition isn't worth $3K. |

For $140,000 I would expect my tail pipes to be the same length. Plus I would expect the tail lights to be mounted in atleast a mirror image.
Left tail pipe is longer.
Left tail light is lower & on an angle. _________________ Home of the one true split Bus Motorhome |

I does appear that way, but let's just assume that it's just a distortion of the camera perspective.
Body and pan work was in the $60-$70K range!!! Who throws this kind on money at a '68? |

Normally I would say that $1500 for a straight bodied running car is a pretty decent deal.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/5426767662.html
But someone needs to tell this kid to maybe add a little more info and take a few more pics of the car-- not you and the girlfriend. I don't feel like texting back and forth to get an idea of whether or not I'm gonna drive 30 miles to look at what is probably a hacked up turd. |

Just to be clear, this is not, I repeat NOT a typical late beetle car deal in Boise. This cat is clearly an idiot. Feel free to continue shopping here. _________________

So the body doesn't come with? I don't get it. If this is such an awesome rolling pan, why pull the body off to keep it? That would suggest that he's got another SB chassis just waiting... and if that's the case, it had better be f'in fantastic to justify selling just THIS pan.
Whatever. |

Good point. Not much of a daily driver now without-
1- gas tank
2- upper strut support
3- struts
4- steering column
5- steering box
6- lights
Am I missing anything else?
Also a little punctuation would help clarify the post. |
