@ André : the detail picture is the 1959 2CV... mine is a 1974, and a little different, more "modern" as you could say
...I saw them on more cars here in Europe back in the 80ies too...

Is this bus going to be driving to HO next June, or just hauled in as a smashed hulk on a trailer? It's hard to imagine that thing resembling a bus in that short of time, but it would be fun to watch it get built. |

The plan was to do a monster quick build to drive it there, but since then I bought my '50, so the plan has changed to do the 50 first, then this afterwards, so it will not b e at Hessisch - I need to email the guys to change the details of what I will be driving there, another thing on the list to do!
Elfix is prgressing well with its new owner, I wouldnt be suprised if this makes it to a show soon! _________________ To catch a fish, you must first think like a fish.... |

Elfix and the '50 both rolling out next year would be cool. 2013's looking like a good one for the UK scene. Bring it on |

The Horrak bus looks rather similar to the Porsche bus, but I looks like the Porsche bus is missing the rear bumper. This photo has been taken in November 1952:
This bus has been used in a driving school (Fahrschule), what a waste.
This is the driving school in 1955:
