I took my oil pressure gauge down to a local store (fiberCRAFT in Reno,NV) and the man there told me he has never seen this gauge before and didn't sell me a sending unit for it because we weren't sure it the 0-80 unit would work since it shows 0-70 on the gauge.
Anyone know where it came out of/from?

It's an aftermarket gauge, probably didn't come from anything but they were also standard equipment for Bricklins. I collect them, so if there's more gauges there besides the oil and amps gauges, I'd be interested. _________________ Check my classifieds for kewl gauges:

As you can see, these are VDO Jet Cockpit gauges (as I believe CrackFactory's above are, minus the bezels). Bought this set in 85 and was going to put them on my Manx, but never did.

I believe this is very rare and I never saw one before. A NIB fuel gauge from Draeger company. I found it on a swap meet in southern germany.

Did VDO make the 5000 rpm tacho without sender?
Like the later 6000 rpm style?
The tacho like on page 2.

No. They were cable driven only. Most people convert them to electric. _________________ http://www.cascadekombis.org/vintage-meet |

Hi,
I bought this 80mm VDO tach the other day (no info). Should this, by any chance, ever been installed in a VW?
Thanks!
