this may sound odd, but i prefer the later headlight/wing style.
Just looks better proportioned to me. |

I think a fat chick with grafted in head & tail lights, nostrils, bumpers, and dash would be the best ghia combining the all beauty and enginnering Vw put in the KG, that's my oppinion, I think that would be less work than convering it to IRS and upgrading the brakes, trans, engine interior, wiring, etc. but thats me _________________ "Fiberglass is for boats and race cars-Steel is real-fix it right the first time"-Wolff

Are you currently working on it? You have an impressive list of vehicles, are they are running or projects in progress? I've seen some of your cars on the Samba in the past and they have looked really nice.

im assuming the roll eyes is for me?
Just my opinion, equally as valid as yours. I just dont like the headlights, nostrills or rear lights on lowlights.
Same with bugs, i think 65 has to be the best year. I just dont like the early windsreen shape but like the early pannels and link pin front end.
Each to their own, but earlier doesnt automatically mean more desireable to me. |

I will be shortly. I just bought all new brake bits this week, and am researching my upholstery options. I have a lead on a local 36hp engine that I need to chase down. This weekend I'm installing a whole new suspension in my M3 (daily driver), so once that's done, I can start.
The two bugs are projects - I'll probably part out the hardtop, but I'm keeping the rag. It's straight and dry except for one /14 panel, and I scored an NOS one at the 'rama.
All the other cars actually run! _________________ -Thom

I call it the S&S factor.
The later cars are more Sleeker, were as the early low lights are Sexier IMO.
But like my women, I like them to have curves. _________________ It's not about the window, it's about the people.

I did the red/black color scheme, and the mirror arrangement - I think I'll copy that, thank you very much! _________________ -Thom
