I happened to be at Glacier Park when this popped up. By the time I wandered over there in the afternoon he said it was sold. It was a pretty decent bus for the price. |
I have a friend locally that has tried to contact the seller from almost the moment it went on sale. No response (!), and the ad is till up without any mention of it being sold. That is enough to piss off a guy for sure. _________________ nothing |

I pulled the ad since I have to assume it sold.
He got A LOT of emails to the ad.
And I'm sure a bunch of calls too _________________ How to Post Photos

I had good communication right off. I texted him when I saw the ad on Craigslist the night before. He supplied me the address to stop by and look at it, said he was at work til 4:30pm. I almost stopped by earlier in the morning but decided to later in the day.
When I showed up no one was home, it was about 4:00 pm. I texted him to tell him I was there and he told me it was sold. I asked if he had already been paid as well? And his response was "Yes" and he apologized it was sold.
I was surprised it was sold and paid that quick while he was suppose to be at work.
My viewing was brief as I hate to be intrusive if no one is present, here are a couple photos.

Looks pretty crusty, maybe not such a good deal after all.
Probably someone wired him the money while he was at work. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Sucks. How long was the drive?
I couldn't put my old bus in the whines. (It's also in the pic of where you 'Feature Ad' pay upgrade here).

I get alot of, 'why don't you put a Porsche motor in there' comments and my old bus got a Porsche motor! Props to the guy and it's the one bus I regret selling out of all the ones I've had (yep, counting the BD's, 23's). This one.
Good luck on the sale sir! _________________ "There is only one sin; disconnection from self." |

Yep! Thats it I couldn't give it away here for $4500 USD a while back. It's the only Split bus I've ever sold locally! (Went to a great guy btw, then later went to the UK). _________________ "There is only one sin; disconnection from self." |

With a little bit of wiggle room on the price, I feel like this would be a good deal to own a rare-ish bus.

RHD isn't really my thing though but whatever... it's a hightop. |

If you want one, it might be much easier to fix this one than to carve one from a bar of soap.

So this double cab sold in about 1 1/2 hours yesterday so it must have been a good price, does anyone know what the asking price was?

$11,000. Not too bad for a double cab. |

Looks like a decent bus in the pics, non-original interior but otherwise appears complete. Fair price for someone who actually wants a bus?

As a member of the Samba I am held to the standards of being a good citizen and wanted to pass this along:
http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/5690774782.html
Seems like a fair deal if it's as solid as the pictures look.
If it had 2 more windows and was a walk-through I would be putting this in the "This day in Bus hunting history"
Please keep us posted if anyone goes and checks this out! |
