That is a total period piece...Would be cool to revive that thing, but leave the body as is......Only problem is that old farts like me would be the only ones to "get it"..... _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

"Piece" being the operative word. It's listed for $600.

I agree, not really something I'd roll, but it looks much more well done than some of the hacks here, obviously some actual skill involved in the build. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Looking at this a second time....I really love this concept...Totally agree, I wouldnt build it myself, but what an insane idea, and I get it, BUGatti. I would definately buy the person who came up with this idea a beer. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

That's a fun little project, I kind of like it.
Probably moved the boat onto the abandoned buggy project to mow the grass and thought, hey that fits pretty good..... you know I could probably.... hey Junior, git me my tools....and some beer!
The question might be how far would it go? and the answer is..... all the way to the bottom.
I'm guessing the waterline, should someone be so bold, is well into red and that the engine would likely pull it down and under.
Could be a lot of fun in parades? If you could hide the controls and "row" it down the road? Maybe have a guy or two fishing as you row?
Ahh, then again maybe none of that.... _________________ Gary

Looks like the pedal cluster is still in stock location, which I gotta figure means the driver does a "Fred Flintstone" through a large hole in the bottom of the boat. This will make floatation much more difficult.
It would be great for something like the Woodward Dream Cruise with a couple fishing poles, vest and hat...... |

Looks like another Red Green contraption, though I don't see any duct tape on it.

Sits on a 66 Ghia pan and was put together for fun (not mine). But it does run and move under its own power. See if the link works:
