Building a 1.9 type 4 for my westy. stock crank, 96mm slip in pistons, 1.8 big valve heads, dual weber 40's. I'm in debate about a CB 2202 mechanical cam https://www.cbperformance.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=2202
or a CB 2205 hydraulic cam https://www.cbperformance.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=2205

Anyone have experience/advice on the selection? It doesn't see a lot of miles per year.

Bump..

Did you choose the 2205 cam? I just called CB and they no longer offer the 2201 but this one is quite similar..

I am building an 1800cc with 8.0:1 static compression and would really love to know the actual @ .050" @ valve event degrees. They measure these cams at the lifter... and the hydraulic versions @ .006" at the lifter..
