There is only one tactic that works with that doorknob - and that is to 100% ignore. The mob.s won't give him the big fat boot like everyone here agrees they should have years ago so you need to do it yourself (don't even read from those you know will be idiotic).

Your work is STELLAR! BRAVO! I saved all of those pics - they are highly inspiring for me! Thanks for sharing! ! !

How long has it been on? DO you usually park in direct sunlight?
Looks good, I ordered a few color chips to get some ideas.

I will be using monster liners customizable colors for my build. You can use any paint code you want, just takes a little work going to a paint supply for special filler color from PPG.

I have monstaliner on my van (its been in the sun 24/7 for 10 months now. It looks the same as it did on day 20 (it takes a few weeks for the sheen to stabilize).

Based on my reading and experience, I can say that monstaliner is impervious to UV for any time period less than a decade. It will probably take 30 years to fade noticeably. The product just hasn't been around long enough to know yet!

Raptor, uv fade and overheating not a problem in this part of the world Very Happy
Cost of a decent respray was more than the cost of the van, my limited painting skills meant finish would not be up to much so tried this and love it, not to everyone's taste but I didn't do it to please anyone else.

Every time I get Monstaliner out of my head, one of these threads pops up and I spend all afternoon searching/looking at photos. My Syncro might be a perfect candidate.

This thread in particular is a good 'un:

Hi! Can you guys tell me, roughly, how many liters of paint was used to cover the entire body? My friend is considering painting his car and asked me to help with data gathering 😉
