Mark your calendars as the 2016 event will be here before you know it. This year's featured model is Dune Buggies of all types. New for 2016 we will also have camping available starting Friday night to allow us all to extend the weekend.

Thanks to the amazing Bruce Meyers someone at this years AACG will be taking this home. It's an original copy of the famous August 1966 Hot Rod Magazine signed by the real Bruce Meyers himself! This is a must have for any Dune Buggy fanatic, so make sure you mark your calendar.

Is camping at the event? I would like to come down, I've never been before and have been told it's the best show in the NE.

that's my camper to the left of the green bus. that was a few years ago we made the trip. I met vwpieces about 1-2 miles from the show and it took us like an hour to get there due to an accident.
I think it was the year they had the bay for the show theme. good times

I assume from the poster, there isn't preregistration for Sunday, only at the gate?

Yes, as far as I can tell from attending several of these events, registration is just done after you pay/enter. If you are camping the price of show entry is usually part of the fee. |
Stanagon is correct on all fronts. No need to pre-register, just show up and enjoy! Since this is our first year with Friday camping the $10 camping fee includes Friday and Saturday.

I spoke with the swim clubhouse manager today and all is set. They will have dinner Friday night and breakfast Saturday, along with lunch and dinner like past years.
They are very excited to have us all weekend. It's going to be a great show.
With that said- I'd like everyone to police themselves this weekend. We encourage families and want to respect quiet hours and language. I normally only have to tell one or two folks they need to turn their volume down. Let's keep the peace with the swim club and their neighbors. They are nice enough to have us all weekend, so courtesy is important.
If anyone needs anything during the weekend or before please reach out to me. CJVWS takes huge pride in this show and we hope to make it better every year.
