anyone thought of extending the black detailed areas further out, to the rim join?
i'm thinking it will make the rims appear bigger, which may improve the aesthetics |
I liked this idea and tried it out .
I know it needs to be lower, hopefully soon. |

Apologies in advance, and i've read the thread backwards and forwards but I cannot seem to find the offset when widening the rears to 6"?
I have a set of 15" x 4.5" originals and would like to re-barrel the rears to a 6".
Anyone able to share the information? _________________ www.dinography.com.au - Dino!

They were made by Guestro, which still exist today.
Some of them don't have any markings, as there were other manufacturers in the 1980's which also made them for the beach buggy and baja craze, at the time.
Smiths Wheels made them in a white epoxy finish in 14s and 15s.
I have a NOS set of 15 inch wheels, the plastic packaging had a stamp of 5/1978 on them |

Does anyone know what outer barrels work well when re-hooping these? Anything new (and possibly chrome) available on the aftermarket?
I would love to re-do mine into high-offset 4.5 front and deepish 6 or so on the back.... _________________ 1961 Double Cab (Sealing Wax Red) |

Hey Jaimes: I see you recently listed your 67 for sale, would you mind sharing your specs on your SA's, did you still have the long axles with this setup? |

Rears are re-hooped to 5.5” wide, 3 5/8 offset, reverse mounted as well. Short axles and lowered two inner splines. Fronts are original 4.5” wide and it has a 4” narrow beam. |
